We were told, not long ago, that it was our civic duty to play a role in the most monumental presidential election our country has ever seen.
Four years later, in the midst of an economic crisis, a war that doesn’t seem to end, and an empty job market, I would argue that there is an even more important election on our horizon.
On Tuesday, Sept. 25, the Political Science Student Association and the American Democracy Project are sponsoring Voter Registration Day. Whether it’s your first time voting or you simply haven’t registered yet, you won’t want to miss this event.
Registration will take place in the library from 12:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. and students will be able to register via TurboVote. The process won’t take any longer than 15 minutes, so stop by, sign up, and make your stamp on our country’s future.
